Since 1891 the Federal Assembly's Official Gazette has been publishing verbatim reports of debates in the National Council and the Council of States. Since the 1995 winter session it has been possible to consult the minutes of these debates via the internet. From now on, all speeches by members of parliament will be published by the Official Gazette Service immediately and continually.
The Curia Vista database of parliamentary proceedings includes information about all the issues dealt with by the National Council and the Council of States and is complete from the 45th legislative period on, i.e. from the winter session 1995. The data is regularly updated.

As far as concerns important issues discussed in parliament and most of the issues that are put to the popular vote, the Parliamentary Services draw up comprehensive files that provide an overview of the various points of view and the corresponding political debates. Each file includes a diagram which shows the chronological procedure and the current situation.
