The Parliamentary Services maintain an image database containing current and historical images of parliamentary dealings and events.
1. Use
The images may be downloaded by anyone and used free of charge for non-commercial purposes, in particular when used for the following:
- Press publications
- Publications in films and on television
- Online and multimedia publications and non-commercial uses in relation to political studies.
Use for commercial purposes, and in particular in advertising, is not permitted.
2. Terms of use
Any processing, rearrangement or manipulation of the digital images provided here that goes beyond colour correction, cropping and altering dimensions is not permitted unless prior written consent has been granted by the Parliamentary Services. Any distortion or misrepresentation of these copyright protected works in visual, written or any other form, e.g. by re-photographing, hand-drawn falsification, photocomposing or by using electronic aids, is not permitted. A downloaded digital image may not be reproduced in a misleading context.
3. Liability and jurisdiction
The user bears full responsibility for the publication and/or dissemination of the image. The Parliamentary Services excludes all liability.
The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Bern.

4. Source citation
When using a downloaded digital image the source «Parlamentsdienste 3003 Bern» must be cited. This also applies to electronic publications such as websites.
