Parliament will be opening its doors on
17 May and offering a special programme tailored to younger guests.
Saturday, 17 May, 9am–5pm, admission at the main and visitors’ entrances until 4pm (visitors still in the queue at 4pm are not guaranteed entry). Free admission.
Visitors 16 years and older must show official ID.
Please allow for queues at security if there are a large number of visitors.

Magic show in the Council of States chamber
A magician will amaze audiences with his tricks!
Show starts at 10am, 12pm, 1.30pm and 3.30pm
Q&A session with the President
National Council president Maja Riniker will answer questions from the children.

Our guides explain the tasks of Parliament to the youngest children in child-friendly language. Voting included.

Children receive a free glass of squash at the bar in the former newspaper room.
Explore the Parliament Building
Visitors can wander around the lobby, the Domed Hall, and the National Council and Council of States chambers on their own. Our guides will be happy to tell you about the history and architecture of the building.

Attention! We are looking for inquisitive
junior reporters (aged 12-16) from all language regions to take part in the open day on 17 May.
