President of the Polish Parliament to visit Bern during the current parliamentary session

National Council president Maja Riniker (FDP, AG) and Council of States president Andrea Caroni (FDP, AR) will receive the Marshal of the Polish Sejm (lower house), Szymon Hołownia, in the Parliament Building in Bern on 17 September.

The talks will focus on the security challenges facing Poland since the start of the war in Ukraine and Switzerland's bilateral relations with Poland. Relations between Switzerland and the EU and the Polish EU Council Presidency in the first half of the year will also be discussed.
