The legal basis sets out the rules governing how the Delegation maintains relations with parliaments of other states.

 

Legal basis

The legal basis for the delegation responsible for relations with the Austrian parliament can be found in article 60 of the Parliament Act (RS 171.10) an article 4 of the Federal Assembly Ordinance on international relations of the Parliament (ORInt) (RS 171.117).

 

Composition of the delegation

In compliance with Art. 6, para. 2, of the Ordinance on international relations (ORInt) (RS 171.117), the delegation responsible for relations with the Austrian parliament shall comprise three members of the National Council and two members of the Council of States. Three members of the National Council and two members of the Council of states are appointed as reserve delegation members.
