The Parliamentary Library is the place to go if you have questions about Parliament, and especially about its history. It is the repository and showcase for Parliament’s records, and encourages and supports academic research on the Federal Assembly. It makes its information resources available to researchers.

The Parliamentary Library is also responsible for acquiring, indexing, synthesising and supplying relevant, reliable and high value-added information required by Parliament, its organs, Council members and Parliamentary Services for their work. It contributes to the development of the Federal Assembly’s information systems by providing expertise in information sciences.
