At the invitation of the President of the National Council, Maya Graf, and the President of the Council of States Filippo Lombardi, the President of the Council of Europe, Martin Schulz, paid an official visit to Bern on 21 March. During the meeting, they discussed the development of the EU and the European Parliament, and their relations with the Swiss Parliament.
