​The President of the National Council, Christa Markwalder (FDP, BE), travelled on 30 June to Vaduz to attend the Women’s Economic Forum. She used the opportunity to hold talks with the President of the Landtag, Albert Frick, and Prime Minister Adrian Hasler. She also paid a courtesy visit to HSH Hereditary Prince Alois in Vaduz Castle.

Christa Markwalder was received by the President of the Landtag, Albert Frick, and the Vice President, Violanda Lanter-Koller. After being welcomed to the Landtag, the programme included a tour of the parliament building and meetings. Following a working lunch, Ms Markwalder paid a courtesy visit to HSH Hereditary Prince Alois. She then met with Prime Minister Adrian Hasler. For Liechtenstein, Doris Frick, Ambassador of the Principality of Liechtenstein to Switzerland, and the Secretary to the Landtag, Josef Hilti, were also in attendance. The Swiss delegation also included Olaf Kjelsen, Swiss ambassador to the Principality of Liechtenstein, and Nina Wirth, foreign policy adviser in the Parliamentary Services.
