The Delegation for Relations with the French Parliament will visit Paris on 6 and 7 November. Headed by National Council member Fathi Derder (FDP/VD), the delegation will attend talks with the French Senate’s Franco-Swiss Friendship Group on cross-border issues and France’s new territorial organisation. The parliamentarians, who will visit the SNCF (French railways), will also have the opportunity to discuss cooperation in the fields of science, research and new technologies.

Headed by its president Fathi Derder, the delegation will include its vice president, Liliane Maury Pasquier (Council of States, SP/GE), Alice Glauser-Zufferey (National Council, SVP/VD), Manuel Tornare (National Council, SP/GE) and Olivier Français (Council of States, FDP/VD).

In France, the Franco-Swiss friendship groups comprise deputies and senators from all political groups and are headed for the National Assembly by Deputy Marion Lenne (Haute Savoie, member of the République en Marche group) and for the Senate by Senator Cyril Pellevat (Haute Savoie, member of the Republicans group).
