On Thursday, 28 October, National Council president Andreas Aebi (SVP, BE) and Council of States president Alex Kuprecht (SVP, SZ) will be received in Vaduz by the president of the Landtag, Albert Frick. It is the visit that the two Council presidents have paid to Liechtenstein since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Relations between Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein have traditionally been very close and friendly. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, the two countries worked closely together and coordinated their measures.

The presidents of the National Council and the Council of States will use their visit to Vaduz to discuss experiences with their Liechtenstein counterparts regarding efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. Other topics to be addressed during the talks include bilateral relations and current European and international challenges. The delegation will also pay a courtesy visit to H.S.H. Hereditary Prince Alois at Vaduz Castle. The programme will be rounded off by a visit to the Liechtenstein National Museum and the Dr Risch Laboratory Medical Centre.
