The OECD Parliamentary Group on Artificial Intelligence is a thematic group established in February 2020 within the OECD global parliamentary network. It facilitates international co-operation on issues related to artificial intelligence (AI) among parliamentarians of member states interested in this field.
The group will meet in Paris on Monday 7 November to discuss the topic Innovating in AI legislation. The event is organised in partnership with the Panel for the Future of Science and Technology (STOA) of the European Parliament and the European Parliamentary Research Service (EPRS). Parliamentarians from around 20 countries will discuss the EU Artificial Intelligence Act, AI incident reporting and risk management. In addition, there will be a legislative learning space to share information on the work being done in parliaments around the world.
The Standing Parliamentary Delegation for Participation in OECD Activities will be represented by its vice president, National Council member Prisca Birrer-Heimo (SP, LU).
