“It is important to me to communicate Switzerland's diversity to the outside world and to strengthen international relations at parliamentary level,” said President of the National Council Martin Candinas. That is why he is inviting the foreign ambassadors to the canton he comes from. On Wednesday, 30 August, the diplomats accredited to Switzerland will visit parts of Graubünden and discover the many sides of the mountainous canton. The programme will take the visitors from the globally active medtech company Hamilton to the picturesque Heidi village and finally to the official reception of the government of the Canton of Graubünden at the agricultural training centre Plantahof. The informal setting will provide an opportunity to promote dialogue among participants and to network.
