Saturday, 29 October 2022, 9am to 5pm (last admission 4pm), entry free of charge. 
ID/passport required from 16 years of age.

Please allow sufficient time for security checks. There may be queues at peak times.

Open visit of the Parliament Building

Explore the parliamentary lobby, the Domed Hall, the chambers of the National Council and the Council of States at your own pace. Download the Federal BE audio tour app onto your smartphone and listen to many fascinating stories. Alternatively, one of the team of Parliamentary Services guides on hand will be able to tell you interesting details about the running of Parliament, the building and its architecture. 

Guided tour of the Parliament Building

Listen to interesting stories about the origin and architecture of the Parliament Building (duration approx. 30 minutes). Meet at the reception desk in the visitors' entrance.

German: 10am / 1pm / 3pm
French: 11am / 2pm
Italien: 12pm

Maximum 30 people per tour.

Tympanum Competition school projects exhibition

The Parliamentary Services will exhibit the three winning projects and the twelve other projects of the Tympanum Competition for schools (upper secondary level) in the West Lobby of the National Council chamber. The word 'tympanum' refers to the empty gable of the Parliament Building.
